Danger of the Single story

In  the story "Kaffir Boy," racism because of certain stereotypes and the danger of the single story has effected the young African-American boy. Because of being a different color other than white African-Americans live in a poor house other than rich.  When they thought of a black person they immediately thought poor and uneducated.  On line 158 it says, "And he says black children aren't taught much English at school." Black children do not have the luxury of having great teachers and a good school when they are poor. They can not afford the best schools so that lowers the education they are getting. The single story every white child gets is that they are poor and uneducated. They never look deep enough to see why they may not have as high of an education They stay on their single story belief that black people are just not smart enough or as good as white people. They stay on the belief that black people are just poor. Why should African-Americans go through the pain of a single story just because they don't have as much as others? Just because their school isn't as good as others because of living in a poor environment.  On line 186 it states, "The remark that black people had smaller brains and were thus incapable of reading, speaking, or writing English like white people.." This single story is made just because they believe all black people are just poor and uneducated. Do you believe that every stereotype begins with what kind of environment they live in?
